Dear MM members,

A rare occurance is July 31, 2007 award to member Don Holmes of 2007 Ohio Senior Poet Laureate.

Please do not confuse this award with more traditional award by Librarian of Congress.

This is a premature announcement. The details are forthcoming in newsletter at

I consider the announcement complete as I already have the official certificate. The details telling of other winners will be written in forthcoming September newsletter at the link provided.

You may be interested to know that the winning poem is "Forest Fare," which was thoroughly fine tuned here at MM. A great deal of credit must be given to participating MM members.

Sincere thanks, Liz

What a wonderful surprise - I'm thrilled not only for your newly dubbed title but also for the poem. I know lots of folks workshopped it here and so that's a double WHOOHOO! hsdance.gif beer.gif

Well done!
