its nice to meet each of you. amythest - you asked; Please offer us some background about yourself so we can get to know you, your expectations and what are your goals with your poetic endeavors! well, discovering poetry forums about six months ago rekindled my interest in writing, which i had stopped for five years after getting caught in the real world. my goals in this field are modest - global domination. in lieu of this, i guess just having something published would be okay. fav poets - bukowski, eliot, keats. eisa - thank you, it's good to be aboard. looking forward to reading your work also. azure - thanks, for the welcome and for the crit on my poem. fv will be my preferred haunt. never could spin a sonnet. cleo - thanks for the welcome. i live in nsw, in a dying tourist town called, taree. i discovered this site through the ibpc boards, after posting regularly at splashhall forum, which also competes. cathy - thank you, looking forward to your comments and to reading your work. arnfinn - g'day. are you an aussie? thanks for the welcome. regards, sampo. |
