snippet from Shery Ma Belle Arrieta's most recent article, "You Don't Need Inspiration!" and using it as an exercise below.

1. Pirates no longer just refer to the highwaymen of the seas. There are different breeds of pirates today. Write about today's pirates and what they're pirating.
2. The US Declaration of Independence begins with this line:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..." Write your own Declaration of Independence by using the same line as your starting point.
