Excited by the notion,
I steal a fraction of some sixteen berries
but there was harsh commotion
when the glum boss who tarries
got wind. Kept my pay envelope he carries.

Hello again, Larry...

I say again, because this is now the THIRD time I've typed out a response to this fine, well-constructed lira, nicely and quietly incorporating all 10 words.

The FIRST time (yesterday) I said the same thing, but tongue-in-cheek congratulated you for doing the same into a fourteen-word form (septolet) which you had somehow cleverly camouflaged as a lira. But I could never post my words, since either the site shut down, or my computer glitched, and I couldn't return to the site at all.

The SECOND time I said the same thing, and the site wouldn't allow me to post it AGAIN... but at least I could come back, so I posted the 5, 6, and 7 word sillies and came back to try again.

Here goes....

Hi Daniel,

I may have been editing my post while you were trying to add your comment. I realized my mistake as soon as I hit “enter” and immediately came back to correct my mistake. I knew it was a Lira but had just finished writing an answer to your Septolet and that was still on my mind when I cut and pasted my X10 challenge post.

Sorry about that!

Larry

Hi Larry,

Interesting response! I get a sense of a doom boss, lol.
I'm working on getting back into some routine, the new job at Dell is still confusing and fun as I learn new things.
Daniel, sorry that you are having issues. Best to message me or email Peter (Imhotep) at pclark@pclark.com. we would need to know what browser and what buttons or other actions you were doing, and what the error was. As this forum software is out of date, the more details, the better.

Cheers,
Lori
