DEW-STAINED & FOAM-CRESTED

Yesterday’s muted dreams unfurled
as dew-stained footprints mapped
a shining path where passions blazed
and lost souls were fervidly kidnapped.

As sunset faded under twilight’s veil
subdued obsessions began to quiver;
reckless desires flushed our senses,
raging rapidly like a swollen river.

We longed to rejoice seduction’s glory-
rhythmically pulsating sensual embraces
heated up a fondue of tasty, sweet juices
dripping from wet, bulbous-lipped faces.

A secluded beach we chose to escape,
soft sandy dunes our cushioned bed;
a basket with fruit, cheese and wine
was a coveted, epicurean spread.

Drifting salt-scented sea breezes
whispered a welcome dulcet refrain
as insatiable beachcombers sought
an eternal fantasy-filled domain.

The ocean’s foam-crested rolling waves
orchestrated a mesmeric, lyrical tune
as fireworks pierced moonlight’s mist,
we harmonized in a cacophony of swoon.

Triumphant voices echoed on the shore,
our exalted, cadenced chimes enticed
ecstatic sensations of amazing delights
with blossoms of breaths freshly spiced.
