Greetings,
I'm planning another software upgrade on the forums server. The work should start around 7AM EDT (11:00 GMT) on Tuesday, 21 Aug 2007 and end on or before 11AM EDT (15:00 GMT). The forums will be completely offline ("Site cannot be displayed" error in your browser) for the first two hours of the window, and then intermittantly offline for the second two hours as reboots may be neccessary to install additional updates (think of the work as installing a service pack to Windows, and then all the security patches that came after). I will also be adding and changing some security settings on the server, please PM me any issues with inaccessable pages, icons, etc so I can correct them as expediently as possible. Apologies in advance for any inconvenience. I will update this thread when the work is complete. OK, I've completed stage 1. There will be one more reboot in a bit to finish loading the remaining patches. I'll drop a note here when things are complete.
