QUOTE (JustDaniel @ Mar 17 20, 04:54 ) *
This particular person has a very short memory. I'm almost 75 years old, and going back over previous posts is difficult for a person with a slow computer, dyslexia,
double-vision and blurred eyesight, so please have a little compassion with me?

REMEMBERS

Raconteur Eric's maybe emboldened mightily by emotion-recalling saboteurs.

SABOTEURS

Sylvias' also bold, offering the exams usually reconizably simplistic.

RECOGNIZE

Empathy, Daniel, not compassion. My Fibromyalgia, tho' better, is a nuisance. I also type a lot worse and my memory is bad for certain stuff. So sorry about the blurred and double vision, that must slow you down. But you come here regularly, so it'll help us both.

The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

"There is no life higher than the grasstops
Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind
Pours by like destiny, bending
Everything in one direction."

Sylvia Plath, Crossing the Water, Wuthering Heights.

Not asking you to feel my feelings or even identify with them, so empathy is not what I'm asking for. Compassion is rather sympathy and concern for my maladies... and "giving me a break"!! LOL I'm sorry for your fibromyalgia pain and other struggles, so I will not overly criticize you either. I'm sure that my neuropathy is nothing by comparison.

RECOGNIZE

Really, Eric cannot organize goofball novices into zoo entrance.

GOOFBALLS

Goofballs offering organize football. Better arrange leagues' lucky Sundays.

OFFERINGS

I think empathy is nicer than compassion. Means putting oneself in the others' boots, sort of. Neuropathy is also worrisome, but I pray that it remains stable. My Fibro had almost disappeared, but the shock of having to stay indoors has upset me a lot and it's gotten worse, but not too bad. It's such a long winter ahead here in Argentine Patagonia. Snowed under for months. I love going out, having some social life, chats in cafés, etc. Hope our muses inspire us! JackBox.gif butterfly.gif
