Early Release

Showing only a slight fraction
of the vengeance
that enveloped her,
she had turned sixteen
in the harsh environment
where glum was the word
and the deed.

Suddenly, her horizon
turned teal blue/green.

A seminal berry
in the corner of her mind
relayed the notion to her,
excited her

to buy a new supply
of black lipstick
and to hastily
get into the wind.
