I am so sorry to hear of this ordeal of some-one you closely love.
You are right I am retired now from Nursing but my heart is never far from it.
I miss caring for others on a daily basis but it was the added stress of administrative duties
plus now the documentation takes more time than the actual duties of caring.

Thanks for explaining that a lot of members are absent or gone.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of Don.
Have a great day off. You need it.

Hello Sylvia,

This is good stuff. I am struck by how well you detailed all the things going on around you in crisis where you are essentially powerless.

I think focusing on distractions is a way of coping and staying calm in case you are needed. You caught it all well.
