My south seas tan looks so good
glanced into the mirror
my green eyes like emeralds
my body lithe and taut

not a hair out of place
I look great…..
wait til I get to the pool
the gals will wish for an embrace

spread my towel on the beach chair
from every woman a stare
then one at a time
they would stroll by

sunglasses, hiding my eyes
while several leaned over,
whispered in my ear
their cell phone numbers
bright and clear

two took up places
on either side of me
determined not to let me go,
in their faces….that beautiful glow

who will I call tonite
for sheer delight

so you
dare not misconstrue
indeed,all may pursue
it’s true
I will  not…. say adieu…..

Epilogue:
At the pool today, there was a beautiful girl on my right,
and the other side the original wild witch of the west. Ugh.!!!
Spent most of the day in the water.
