Pity this Intro has been removed. I visited Paul Dresser's website and downloaded his song "Tin Pan Alley". I liked it, so then I read all about what he's trying to do in the 'indie' poetry-music genre. Highly interesting...Especially Paul's visit to the museum! A poem-song is written in a different way, perhaps that's why we think it strange, without punctuation and perhaps some repetitions and other figures we may not use in our regular poetry.
