Hello all! wave.gif

I have begun the arduous task of writing a glossary of terms for MM.

A & B are up for review....

It will include site specific information and terms, acronym slang and poetry terms to start.

I have been making template pages and will post them in a few minutes.

Once I have completed this undertaking, I will post another message.

Feel free to check in often as updates will be underway as soon as time permits. butterfly.gif

Cheers!

Feedback appreciated as always!  cheer.gif

"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to." ~ J.R.R Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.

LOL Gosh Lori - that's a massive undertaking. Go slowly or get help.

Just looked up B:

Thanks for "BBL" - never heard of that one!

Blank verse - I think almost all of Shakespeare's plays are written in it; not just the speeches. (But I'm no expert)

Why don't you draw up a list of terms and farm them out in batches of ten for help?

J.

Hi Lori

Well done for this.  I agree with James, it seems to be a massive undertaking.  I can't say I've ever seen anyone use BBL, though I have been tempted to type BTW (By the way) on occasion but hesitated as I wasn't sure anyone would know what it stood for.

Hi J!  :StarWars3:

Yes, it is!   I started this in April and only have A and part of B complete (other than creating templates for all the letters that is).  ???

Ahhh -the  :kitty: is out of the bag! I actually am using twoglossary references (posted into Word docs AND an MM-speak list of terms I created.

The trick is to take existing definitions and re-word them.  :cali: If you or anyone else is interested in helping me, perhaps you can reply with a letter you'd like to work on and I can email you the documents I am using? If some of us take one of the letters at a time, it will surely save time. Idea.gif Whip.gif

I will be away and may not be able to log starting early tomorrow until our return Saturday, but anyone interested, pleae PM me or reply here..

THX!

Thanks Nina! SunCloud.gif

It's a bit of a Juggle.gif but I do believe the end result will be grand! Read.gif

I can't believe I didn't think of that one (I use it often)! Ill be sure to add that one to the "B" page when I return from traveling. lobster.gif
