Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.

Thy 2100 Calendar:  What’s on it, Tom?

Woulds’t thou with me on velvet brushes fly
to paint the sky between a crimson red?
I’d need thy guiding wing to even try!
Such thoughts have never visited my head.

I’ve had my share of convoluted dreams,
but oriented I have never been.
Perhaps with thee, I’d compass Earth’s extremes
to learn more of the happenings of men?

To venture forth, I know thou’dst have to wait
a few more years until I could retire.
By then, I fear, thine energy’d abate!

But never fear!  My yen thou'dst never sate;
I’ll scrape enough together for a fire
to keep thee warm till we can set the date.

As someone once said.
"I'll be back"

Tom

QUOTE
Nay Daniel lad!

They are but whispers;
echoes of dreaming poets
who would fly the wind
on velvet brushes
which draw convoluted dreams
of the orient.

But a sonnet does it better.  Read.gif
