Thank you larry, daniel and stephen!

I had fun writing this one...

Larry and Daniel may recall that Micheal has inspired me before. I don't know why this is.. he's such an enigma to me... I sometimes wonder what kind of a person he might be, beneath all the insanity, the misguided 'glam' and the persona.

Today, my pondering-of-the-day is this:

Did Micheal become bizarre as a way to garner wealth...  only to find that now, he must garner more wealth, to support his increasing bizzare-ness?

poor michael.
i think it all must have gone downhill once he sang that song about Ben the Rat.

Thank God for Gareth Gates and Atomic Kitten.

Why did he adopt that stance
When he danced that obscene dance
Now things go from bad to worse
He's been named and shamed in verse.

Ouch, Artimis, like Michael, way too much fantasy-
no escape.

This is sort of a multi-stanza-ed clerihew...

Recycled Micheal
    by GWBooher  11/19/2003

Got his start in the Jackson Five
Like Donna, he said "I will survive"
Their limelight faded.. Bloom left rose....
So Mikey, jaded, fixed his nose.

Fending off the random racist slur
He whitened his face to an ethnic blur..
Whittled nose and sharpened chin
He danced, a waif.. deviod of kin

The loveliest lady in the land
Gave him refuge, took his hand
enveloped him in made-up spendor
tiill no one could discern his gender

Diana Ross, still tempting lass
berated him for acting crass
he learned to act discreet, naive..
(I see that 'act' and want to heave....)

Wolves at the door and charges pressed
MIkey, no doubt, will be at his best
Nose taped on with double-stick
He'll accuse his accuser of being a hick

He'll simper on the stand, eyes rolling
With Liz and Diana nearby, consoling...
vouching for his innocence...
He's committed no statutory offense!

Micheal slinks home in disgrace
"There's nothing wrong with a loving embrace"
I'll never grow up" says Peter Pan...
Poor Micheal is more like child than man...

But what man would make such mockery
of maleness!  What a crockery!
What man rejects both race and gender
Or go on extravagant spender-benders

Or dangle his child from a balcony...
Or gasp and grasp in cacaphony
and call it 'music', such sexual dance...
and on pubescent boys advance...

IT doesn't take a Socrates
to interpret his multi-metamorphases...
Poor Micheal never quite found his niche...
Perhaps he will in prisn... he's sure to end up somebody's bitch!

g,
I think Michael would tearfully and swishfully thank you for this. Maybe even hold it over a balcony or other things.
