Greetings all,

Deepest apologies for the inconvenience caused by the site being down today. I'm off to wade through the logs to see if I can find something specific that caused it. None of my automated monitoring caught that the site was 'down' because a page was being displayed. Unfortunately, it was a page saying that there was an error..... I'm going to have to see if I can refine my monitors to make sure they alert me to that kind of fault page in the future so it can be fixed much sooner than it was.

If I can find something specific I'll post for those who are interested in the nitty gritty techie stuff going on behind the scenes.

Apologies from me as well - I wasn't logged in at all to the site yesterday until I tried at 7pm (and Thanks JLY for your email , wish I had a PC yesterday handy as I would have alerted Peter sooner)!

If anyone would like my cell phone number to contact me should this happen again, please PM me.
