FRATERNAL LOATHSOME

fail
right to
a mama
to take girl out
eating somewhere with
really poor social norms
not caring what she wants to
allow you to order, but with calm
loathsomeness you completely ignore

occasions explain it

ore
complex
cannot keep
any for sell
since brides all want a
inset diamond ring, I
ought to try finding a vein
now that gold, like some confetti,
symbolizes a parade with it

When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy

INHERITED TESTICLES

It,
not we,
has the balls;
each gene gave it
Ricketts traits that I
ingest without static,
taking in what is normal,
enlisting them to reproduce
Daniel's weirdest characteristics.

times to go see the doc

tics
in eye,
maybe face,
evoke the hint
something is wrong with
those nerves and someone
ought to go have their health checked;
giving loved ones peace of mind who
observe you and then they won’t panic

NO GRASS IS KENTUCKY'S

nick
of time:
grow your green
raggedy sprout
as gangly as you
suppose in its magic
since bluegrass is just a trick
i n s t i g a t e d by Kentucky
spreading out all of its horse-droppings

picture of sonar echo

pings
isles to
chart mountain
that tops the sea
using scanning gear
reflecting a sheer face
exposed due to volcanic
overflow until it can reach
fantastic heights where people can go

GENERATED ORIGINALS

Go
ever
north and I
expect finding
radical things I
admittedly thought in
the young days: No iota
emoting from my mind will fail
debunking them.
But new joy exists.

imagining sentience

“ist’s”
mean more
added, when
gaged worst or best,
increased more than I
needed or want to see
instead of enough. I can
never, because I’m a sceptic,
guarantee that I would even care.

CULTIVATE EDUCATION

care
uttered
lightly, you
teach a magic,
ink with magenta,
visualize things that
act like great tympani
titillating your pictures to
enrapture every student's vision

strangers noticed it

shun
those who
rage about
all bland chili,
naming the gastric
gas that’s caused is to blame
each time they want to avoid
remaining, with the alibi;
smells won’t be as bad if it was hot

HYPOCRITE TEASES YOU

hot
you made
pleased Norma
our critic; writes
critique saying she
really likes hot, but has
insensitive statements by
telling all her readers how to
eradicate chili cooks like you

reassessing your need

wish I won’t cut myself - need a balm for my face

when
I shave
some stubble,
hairs I severed
in cleared area
waft inside the bathtub
only to wash out to sea.
Now and then I slip and it’s all
tainted by blood but with little harm
caused and I worry about myself
until the small nick heals up so
that the scab falls on the floor.
My pick keeps me from harm;
yellow razors stay
sharp and cut off
ends on a
li’l bic
face
