Mosaic Musings...interactive poetry reviews _ Famous Poet Works -> Legendary Libations _ The House By the Side of the Road

Dear All,
I recently was seeking a plumber to incorporate a filter in the incoming line of somewhat silty water. I called a neighbor down the road whom I'd never met but drove a plumber's truck. He installed the filter for me.
He was most charitable in doing so and I endeavored to find a suitable poem that I could use in my expression of appreciation.
I believe both he and I have been blessed by the poem.
It seems like Mr. Foss must have written this poem just for my newfound plumber friend. It seems Foss wrote this poem in this form filled with music with its lilt and message just for me.
I hope you hear the music too!
Cheers, Ron jgdittier

Hi Ron,

I have dearly loved this poem for years. So glad you posted it!! I sewed a cross stitch sampler using the refrain from this poem long ago.

Cheers!

Peggy
