Hi all,

I've moved this debate out of my own poem's section because it seemed independent ("off topic," if you care for that phrase) and also because it has elicited a strong response, so needs a fair airing.

It was started by Daniel. I cannot move individual entries across and preserve the posters - so each entry will have my name against it. Nevertheless, I have put the real poster's name above that.

Please continue to respond here - I'm sure Daniel would appreciate the feed-back.

All posts on this topic have now been moved - further responses would be appreciated, I'm sure.

James.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry about the setback.  Wishing you well.

Many organizations are financed by individuals with an agenda.  For example an historian hired by a wealthy person to conduct history classes, but only history as the patron desired it presented.

Ignorant of the situation, which need not be divulged as the decisions are now buried in concrete, your situation reminded me of the example above.  There is also the control-freak aspect.  Perhaps your super has no appreciation of the higher arts.

Again, wishing you well.

Don
