Mosaic Musings...interactive poetry reviews _ Introduce Yourself _ hello

Posted by: anaisa May 13 10, 18:56

Hello!

I am a native Californian, living in Orange County
with my British husband and 2 cats. I have four young
grandchildren, two live in American and two live in Alvechurch,
England.

Four years ago I started writing poetry—
formal verse is what I really love, but I also write free verse.
In January 2010 I started Victorian Violet Press, an on line poetry
magazine...which has had 2 issues out so far this year.

I don't mind detailed critiques, and am most grateful when technical
or grammatical errors are spotted.

I look forward to reading more poetry here~

Hi Karen and welcome to MM.

It's late here in UK 1.50am so this will have to be brief, but when I saw you here I had to give you a warm welcome - it's so good to see you.

I have read your poem - I love nature poems and will get to it tomorrow with some thoughts.

goodnight

Hi Karen

So your husband is a Brummie -- small world! I was born in Wales, but have lived in Birmingham most of my life. How great to have you here!

Karen,
Welcome aboard. It's always a pleasure to have someone join us who embodies some of the cultural perspectives from the U. K.
My wife is Scottish, born in Port Glasgow and I've learned a lot from her about the language differences that pervade both sides of the pond.
