Hellooooo powers that may be.
I read a revised censorship rule message which refered to "Celtic Contemplations" folder/file/tile.
Hmmm, I thought about where it might be and how to travel there.
The form jump feature is the most efficient, but getting to the form jump feature seems to take some initial clicking along one of many roads, of which is like a scenic path when one is not in scenic mood.
Simply said, can we have a forum jump as conveniently located as say, "search" function?
Sincerely
Don
Hi Don!
The forum jump is actually located atthe bottom of your scren. You should only have to scroll down and there it is on the right...
Is this what you are referrig to?
Cleo :pharoah:
Ahh yes Cleo, at the bottom of a given screen set is fine.
However, a forum jump is not available from Mosaic Musings.
The extra step is entering something from there to get to a forum jump location.
Thanks for responding.
Don
Greetings,
The 'Forum Jump' at the bottom of the screen is a pulldown. Select the forum you want to get to from the list and then wait a second and it should redirect you.
Unless I've misunderstood the problem?
Good luck!

If you don't mind me sticking my nose in here,
I think what Don is trying to point out is that there isn't a forum jump on the MAIN page "Mosaic Musings". You have to actually be in one of the forums to use the forum jump. I agree with Don that it would be nice to have some sort of function on the main page to go directly to what you want, instead of skimming the forums looking for it.
Don't know if it's possible, though.
Thanks,
Dan
Hello! :)
I believe the issue here is that the 'FORUM jump" is for just that - forums.
When I re-designed the board last month - now there are CATEGORIES on the main page and the first layer that you enter is a SUB-CATEGORY.
The actual forums do have the forum jump code at the bottom of the page.
I will try and look for code with relation to 'CATEGORY Jumps', but we hacked this one in and it takes quite a bit of time (and in some cases, I hire out a programmer) for these things.
I think we've come a long way in a short time (three months).
This undertaking is a wonderful learning process, that I look forward to every day! While I wish I didn't have a corporate (YUCK) job, my time is limited in that respect. Please know that Imhotep and I are devoting as much time and money as we can for MM, and I DO look forward to these interactions with ALL our members!
I am currently in the process of making MM an LLC and will be very excited to tell more later. Please don't take this the wrong way, but things do take time and money. Just know that I am 100% dedicated to the success I hope our site will bring to all.
Tootles!

And you're doing a GREAT job!! I sincerely hope I haven't implied otherwise.

Gee Lori,
It is okay with me whatever organization you install.
You may be assured LLC stands for Limited Liability Company. The next best thing to fully incorporated legal safety. Although the best is private which keeps everything ...well, private, litigation risk is atrocious.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, Cleo. You must relieve those stress wrinkles to reduce risk of heart attack.
Best of good wishes toward success.
Don
Thank you Don - My brain has been fried like an egg in the pan this week.
Think I'll work on some occassion postcards next!
Hugarooos!

Forum Jump added to Main forum board page Feb 12 2005 :knight:
Hi dear Cleo and staff,
Since I probably started this carbunkle of adding YET another navigation feature to jump about from wherever, the least I can do is THANK YOU for your consideration and effort.
THANK YOU.
Don
You are most welcome Don - I've been using it myself! ???
