:snowflake: What to Do? :snowflake:
Sledding through the snow
on a steel blade, no brakes sleigh
O’er the slopes I go
grinning all the way
When in front of me
a white-tailed doe appeared
I guess she didn’t see
the coast was not so clear
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but not so for this tree
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but not so for this tree
A few seconds ago
I thought I’d practice hard
and soon I’d win the slope
not thinking I’d be scarred
The sleigh knew who was boss
or was it just a guise
when steel on icy gloss
careened my first place prize
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but not so for this tree
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but not so for this tree
Now here I sit in pain
with cast on leg and arm
no venison you see
for Bambi was unharmed
My sled is in the tree
my win is lost this year
at least I’ve got a glee
from pills that bring me cheer
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but not so for this tree
Oh, what to do, what to do
how stupid can I be
In-decision is my name
but
not
so
for
this
tree. :reindeer:

Dear Cleo,
Poetry, whatever it is, is different from those forms of expression that are there just to communicate.
It seems to me music is a prime aspect of poetry and poetry that sounds like music is "spot on".
Nicely done.
Cheers, jgd
