Hi Syl,

Thank you for your good wishes. We've had Jason to stay since Xmas eve and he went back last night. It's been a hectic few days.

I'm hoping to find my muse in the New year. I'll be back then with my new laptop. pharoah2.gif It's been too long.

I hope you are well, Syl. Happy New Year!

Hugs
Eira

I’ll echo your sentiments Syl, and hope that peace in the world, returns to re-affirm the desires and intentions of so many of us, no matter where we live!

I too am hoping to see more activity on MM, with inspired poetic offerings from everyone. MM offerings/postings, stand head and shoulders above the trashy writings of IPads, Cell Phones and all other devices. I hope we soon see a return of the basic connections between peoples, that inspires others to return to better things, no matter what their passion! Be it poetry, prose, paint or music or whatever? Of late, the world seems to be fast disappearing down the sink hole of mediocrity! Quality? Where went it?

A heartfelt wish from one who begins to feel his age, and despairs of losing the qualities of life and connections, that made his life so interesting and exciting. Seemingly aeons ago!

Maybe I wish for something no longer attainable? Only time will tell!

Happy New Year and Good Heath to all Members of MM.

Ciao for now. Rhymer. Aka Denis (we’re getting snowed in again! Yuck!)

Tx a lot, Eisa! Snowflake.gif The festivities can get complicated, indeed. I know how busy you are when Jason comes over. But that's what we mothers do. The thought of abandoning our dearest ones is far worse than having a hectic time caring for them at home.

I'm OK, but my Fibro hasn't been giving me a good time. When the pain goes, fatigue strikes! And having MCS is quite a problem, making oneself a nuisance to others who never seem to understand. Why are diabetics given consideration, but not those who have unusual illnesses.

Oops, sorry for griping here!

Have a great New Year and bring your Muse over to MM!!

Cheers, Syl butterfly.gif

Yep, you're quite right, Denis. My own petty gripe is that everybody seems to be on Facebook these days. Lots of poetry websites have closed for lack of members.
I also find lots of websites where mediocre poetry is posted. Most of the time, I just don't understand it. And the members start fighting among themselves, right there in the threads, instead of focussing on the poem.
There have been dozens of good poets at MM, now only a handful remain. Including you, my good sir! Love reading your rhyming poems, but I apologise for not being around during the festivities.

I still have a grandson staying here, along with his girlfriend, so I must get moving as we're all having supper together.

Cheers and many blessings, love and peace during 2017.

Hi Bev! cheer.gif
What a surprise to see you over here. A nice one, of course!
And yes, we'd love to see your new or old poems. That would be great. Some of us are posting oldies, as new members haven't seen them.

New members?? LOL.

A big hug along with best wishes,
Syl butterfly.gif
