Transportation

From here to there is the question.
If Pegasus were up for auction
or Apollo would simply share,
which brings us to public fare
for busses, cabs, trains, and airfare.

Horses without wings are nice
for they eat apples and sugar for spice.

To go anywhere can be an affair
to get easily from here to there.
Like a car needs a string of gas stations
along webs of roads smooth with bitumen;

and shared with supply trucks
that carry goods and feed stomachs.

There are cruise ships to float anywhere
to vacation from home couch or armchair.
From point A to point B is incomplete
if we forget attention to our feet.

which brings us to public fare
for busses, cabs, trains, and airfare. <<< Hmm... Back to reality.

Horses without wings are nice
for they eat apples and sugar for spice. <Mate, spice has a bit of a kick. Ya done good. Nice interlude.

To go anywhere can be an affair
to get easily from here to there. <<< Love it! Love it!
Like a car needs a string of gas stations
along webs of roads smooth with bitumen; <<< 'webs' puts ya in the picture.

and shared with supply trucks
that carry goods and feed stomachs. <<< wheeha... trucks n' stomachs, one of ya best one's Don

There are cruise ships to float anywhere
to vacation from home couch or armchair. <<< I, agree with ya mate.
From point A to point B is incomplete
if we forget attention to our feet. <<< Mmmmm... True

I see John has done a great job of pointing out some of the interesting tidbits that you always put in your work. I'm please to have finally read this... and embarrassed that I'd been negligent in not visiting sooner... not even doing what you've done for me a couple of times. I'll try to be much more courteous in the future. I think my mind has been wandering too far astray of late. I need focus.

You've certainly earned the mention... and you're ALWAYS honorable, my friend.

Don,

This piece is fun to read and brings a smile to my face.

Fresh topic too. Keep them coming.
