The "she' here is Il, my muse of form and topic.
La, is my muse of lightness and style.
Il alone, wrote this and then fled the premises.
This logarhyme is all she wrote,
to her* a crime if she could vote.
"What's not to like?"
She never said just what she thought,
or why she's fled, why she's distraught.
So why'd she hike?
* Il
My muse I miss and wonder why.
Did she I diss? Why no "goodbye"?
It's not her norm.
Or is it true, she'd it abhor,
for fear she knew I'd ask for more
she'd not perform.
I see a note, I hope from her,
from it I'll quote . "I much prefer
to see my name."
So I'll post Il, her name with mine,
her wish fulfill, now La will whine!
Give both acclaim?

Hi Ron,
I almost missed this! We must create a challenge (if you are game)? You've given me an idea to 'respond' to your muses. Would it be ok with you if you or I set up a challenge thread here in Karnak (you choose the form, Logarhyme is fine since this poem is in that form) to respond to your poem? We could also use this thread unless you prefer to keep the responses specific to this poem? There are many options available, but I enjoy the 'volleys' as Merlin and Heartsong call them.
Whatcha think?
I think
Il needs a personality adjustment, or perhaps a timeout, and La is just the one to come to her aid and give a swift boot, lol!

Enjoyed the read!

Dear Cleo,
This was fun for me. It's like telling a story and allows the author to control the action and outcome and yet allows for verse. I can even cause and correct controversies between La and Il and in the process just type or play the hero.
At the present, I'm in a 30-day daily poem writing challenge, just half through. Perhaps you can get your further thoughts together
during the next two weeks and then we can discuss details.
Meanwhile, I'll post occasionally at MM, probably pieces from the past.
Cheers, Ron
